My schedule tends to change day to day as I’m on call 24/7 for work, but I’m usually on at 4:30PM-9PM ST on weekdays and weekends I’m usually on at 1PM-6PM ST
3. How did you hear about SYNERGY, and do you know any current members?
I’ve known of the guild for some time now as I’ve been on the Eitrigg since I switched to horde. I never bothered to apply because at the time of my transfer I didn’t have the gear to be beneficial in any raids. As it stands I currently don’t know any members of SYNERGY
4. Why are you interested in joining SYNERGY?
I read your mission statement and it fits my level and interests of play. I do enjoy being casual without having the backlash of officers scolding me for having Real life issues and problems that require me to put them before the game.
5. Please list the guilds you have been a member of (including current, if applicable), and your experience in those guilds.
Dirty Dozen(A) – Left because the whole guild was a clique and I felt like I was on the outside looking in
ShaDowBaiN(H) – I’m currently raiding with them they’re not a bad group but they just spend so much time chattering before and in between boss fights that an hour passes and we’re still sitting in front of the boss not doing anything but wasting time.
6. How does SYNERGY's Mission Statement reflect your preferred style of play?
I’m a casual player due to my work schedule and personal life and like I mentioned in question 4, my real life comes before the game. Since I am casual I only sign up for raids I intend on showing up for, I dislike wasting the time of others and taking the spot of someone who could benefit from having my position in the raid.
7. Please describe what you perceive to be your main's role in endgame content including your gear choices, talent build, enchants, and gemming choices. (There is no right or wrong answer, please put some thought behind your responses)
When I try to describe my character to non WoW players what my purpose in the game is I tell them I’m a Swiss army knife, one tool for many jobs. Depending on the encounter my totem line up could change from buffing the raid to using totems to counter certain boss attacks, but that is just a shamans job in general.
My main spec is enhancement, although not a preferred choice of most shamans due to the gear dependency I find it’s a spec that more shaman players need to invest some time learning. Playing as enhancement has forced me to read and learn more about the class. When I'm outside of raids and dungeons I spend my time refining my character and trying different combinations of gems to find which yield the best results. Thus far the best for my class is a mix of agility and crit. As far as enchants go I split them between attack power and hit rating. My hit rating has been capped for some time so I’ve focusing more on increasing my AP
8. Please tell us more about yourself (Age, hobbies, real life job, etc.)! The aspect we care most about is the person playing the toon.
My name is Cory Leclair (Je suis franco-ontarien) I am also a 22 year old college grad with a diploma in Computer Systems Technology, I’m currently employed with a construction and mining equipment company and provide computer support and training for users all across Canada. My hobby besides playing wow is being with my fiancée and breaking the stereotype that people who play wow are a bunch of single basement dwelling losers. I also like reading about the back stories to WoWs main characters and learning about the story surrounding the World of Warcraft.
